Hi! I’m Lauren Keating and I hail from South Carolina! I am a 2D animation major studying at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Currently, I am focusing on character design and the process 2D hand drawn animation! I am always fascinated by the limitless possibilities of making a character move. I am especially interested in surreal and experimental animation, which I tend to emphasize in my work! I especially love incorporating these surreal inspirations into my character designs. While I am currently studying 2D animation, specifically key framing and in-betweens, I also have an interest in 3D animation! I love the idea of combining the two and am growing in proficiency with software such as blender. My current goal is to make it as a freelance artists meeting the needs of different clientele! I hope to pump a little surreal flavor into any project I get to lay hands on.
